Privacy Policy
This page describes, in plain language, how Passbuk handles your data as an accounting and bookkeeping platform for Indian businesses. It is a product overview and not a substitute for a signed legal agreement.
What we collect
- Account information such as your name, email address, and contact details.
- Company information such as legal name, GST details, and billing details you enter.
- Bookkeeping data (for example, invoices, expenses, payments, ledgers) you choose to store in Passbuk.
- Technical information such as IP address, device, and usage logs used for security and debugging.
How we use your data
- To operate the Passbuk application and provide core features like reporting and invoicing.
- To secure your account using authentication, logging, and fraud-detection controls.
- To improve the product, for example by aggregating anonymised usage patterns.
- To communicate with you about product updates, billing, and support.
Your controls
- You can update or delete most profile and company data from within the product.
- You can export transaction and account data for backup or migration at any time.
- You can request support for account closure and data deletion through the support channels listed in the product or on passbuk.com.
Security
Passbuk is built with security and auditability in mind: double-entry accounting, access controls, activity logs, and encryption at rest where appropriate. Internally, access to your production data is limited to authorised personnel for support and compliance reasons only.
Updates
We may update this overview as Passbuk evolves. When we make material changes, we will highlight them in-product or via email.
